Privacy policy
- We collect personal data to provide and improve our services, personalise the user experience and communicate important information.
- The data we may collect includes your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, billing information and browsing history.
- Cookies needed for account features are separate from optional analytics cookies. Google Analytics is loaded only after you agree; you can reject it or change your choice using Cookie preferences at the bottom of the page.
- Your payment information is processed securely by our trusted payment providers and is not stored directly on our servers.
- We may share your data with third-party providers that help us operate the platform (payment, delivery, marketing and more). These providers are contractually required to protect your information.
- We may also disclose your data if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.
- You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Some of this information can be managed from your account settings.
- We take reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure. However, no Internet transmission is completely secure.
- We keep your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and in accordance with applicable law.
- Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read their policies.
- We may update this privacy policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or other channels.
- Protection of minors: our platform is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us immediately.
- International data transfers: if you access the platform from abroad, your data may be transferred to and processed in Cameroon, where our servers are located. By using the platform, you consent to this transfer.
02
Audience measurement
- With your permission, we use Google Analytics to measure visits, pages viewed and traffic sources, including Facebook, TikTok and YouTube campaigns. Google receives technical data needed for this measurement, including the IP address during the connection, browser information and cookie identifiers.
- Our tracking uses generic page names and campaign labels. It does not send form or conversation contents, passwords, login tokens or order identifiers.
- Your accept or reject choice is stored in your browser for 180 days. You can change it using Cookie preferences at the bottom of the page. Rejecting analytics does not block any platform feature; withdrawing permission stops new transmissions and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to our site.
- Google is an external provider: analytics data may be processed outside Cameroon. You can read Google’s information about its use of data collected through partner sites.

05
Delivery and shipping policy
- Items are currently handed over in person. Lebonplan does not currently offer a delivery or pickup-point service.
- After payment is confirmed, agree on a time and place with the seller through Lebonplan messages.
- Meet in a busy public place and check the item’s condition, accessories and agreement with the listing.
- Only confirm handover on Lebonplan once the relevant items have been received and checked. This triggers payment to the seller.
- If there is a non-conformity, do not confirm. Open the order to see the available dispute action.
06
Returns and refunds policy
- Before confirming handover, check the item against the listing. Confirmation triggers payment to the seller.
- If the item is not as described, open your order and use the available dispute action before confirming.
- Approved escrow refunds are credited to your Lebonplan wallet for the approved seller funds, excluding commissions. They may be full or partial and are not automatically returned to the original payment method.
- If handover has already been confirmed or you cannot find an action, contact support. A refund is not guaranteed.
07
Dispute resolution policy
- We encourage buyers and sellers to communicate directly to resolve disagreements.
- Report an item that is not as described from the order before confirming handover. Relevant funds remain held during dispute review.
- Relevant information and evidence may be requested when opening a dispute.
- The platform may investigate and attempt to facilitate a resolution.
- The platform's decisions on disputes are final and binding, subject to possible external recourse in certain cases.
- The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who are repeatedly involved in disputes or violate the rules.
- Users agree to cooperate fully with the dispute process.
- A user's dispute history may be taken into account in the decision.
- The process aims to be fair and impartial, without guaranteeing a particular outcome.
- Photographic or other evidence may be required to support a claim.
