Browse and search for items
- Start by exploring the wide variety of products available on Lebonplan.
- Browse categories or use the search bar to find a specific item.
- Use filters to narrow your results by price, condition (new, used or refurbished), location (in Cameroon) and other relevant criteria.
- Take the time to review listings that interest you.

Review listings
- Carefully read the title, description and photos provided by the seller.
- Check the item's condition and any specific details mentioned.
- Read ratings and reviews from other buyers to assess the seller's reliability.
- Check the displayed price, included accessories and handover arrangements.

Contact the seller and negotiate the price
- For any questions about an item, use the platform's messaging service to contact the seller.
- Be polite and clear in your communication.
- On some listings, you can make a price offer.
- Enter your desired amount and send your offer to the seller.
- The seller can accept, decline or make a counteroffer. Negotiate respectfully.

Add to cart and place an order
- Once you have chosen an item (and possibly negotiated the price), click “Add to cart” or “Buy”.
- Check your cart contents, then proceed to payment.
- Items are currently handed over in person. Agree on the arrangements with the seller.
- Select your payment method: Orange Money or MTN MoMo. You can also apply your available Lebonplan wallet balance to cover all or part of the amount.

Complete payment
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pay securely.
- For Orange Money and MTN MoMo, you will usually need to approve the transaction from your phone.
- If your wallet balance covers the entire order, no additional Mobile Money payment is needed.
- Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation.

Track your order
- Open My purchases to check your order and payment status.
- Use Lebonplan messages to agree on the time and place of handover.
- Contact support with your order reference if something is unclear.

Check the item at handover
- Meet in a busy public place.
- Compare the item with the listing and test it where possible.
- Only confirm the handover after checking all relevant items. Confirmation triggers payment to the seller.
- If the item is not as described, do not confirm; report the problem from your order.

Leave a review
- After receiving your item, take a moment to rate the seller and leave a review.
- Your feedback helps other buyers and rewards good sellers.
- Be honest and constructive in your review.

Handle problems and returns
- Before receiving an item, open your order to see whether cancellation is available.
- If the item presented is not as described, do not confirm handover. Use the item-not-as-described action to open a dispute when available.
- Keep photos and messages. The relevant funds stay held during review; the outcome determines any refund.
- Approved escrow refunds are credited to the Lebonplan wallet for the approved seller funds, excluding commissions.
- If the action is unavailable or handover has already been confirmed, contact support with your order reference.
