Lebonplan.cm is a Cameroonian classified-ads marketplace that connects sellers and buyers from the same neighbourhood and the same city.

• Secure payment: the seller only gets paid once the buyer authorises the payment

YOUR DUTIES

Your role is simple: visit the traders in your area, introduce Lebonplan to them, and post their first listings with them, on their own phone.

1. Prospecting

Visit about 25 shops or sellers per field day in your area:

• Fashion: shoes, clothes, watches, bags

• Phones and computers

• Electronics and appliances: fridges, freezers, TVs, radios, fans, air conditioners

• Home: sofas, chairs, tables, beds, mattresses

• Second-hand goods

2. Pitching Lebonplan in 30 seconds

"Post for free, and customers in your neighbourhood will find you on Lebonplan."

3. Creating the seller's account

On their own phone, so that they stay in control of their account.

4. Posting at least 5 listings with them

• Sharp photos taken in daylight

• Automatically suggested description

• Price, condition and neighbourhood checked

5. Training the seller

• Replying in the in-app messaging

• Editing a listing

• Sharing their products as a WhatsApp status in 1 second

6. Reminding them of the safety rules

• Chat through the in-app messaging

• Meet in a public place

• Check the item before paying

• Pay in cash on delivery or through the platform

7. Following up with each seller (day 7 and day 30)

So that they post new items and update the stock of items already sold.

8. Reporting

• Fill in the tracking sheet the same day (shop, phone number, account name, date, your code)

• Send a report every evening: visits, sign-ups, objections heard

YOUR TARGETS (FIRST WEEK)

• 25 sellers signed up per day

• 5 real listings posted per seller

PAY

• Daily base: 3,000 FCFA

• Commission: 75 FCFA per seller registered

• Lunch allowance: 700 FCFA per day

• Public transport costs covered (from point A to point B)

That is: 3,000 FCFA + 75 FCFA × 25 + 700 FCFA = 5,575 FCFA/day minimum

Note: if your daily targets are not met, we will have to end our collaboration the same day.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Student, recent graduate, or someone used to trading

• Living in Douala or Yaoundé

• Comfortable approaching traders in French, ideally also in English or Pidgin

• Android smartphone owner

• Comfortable with WhatsApp and mobile apps

• Serious, honest and persistent: a "no" today can become a "yes" at the follow-up

• Available Monday to Saturday
